Bacillus Records
| Описание: | LC 4297 1971: Founded as an independent label by producer Peter Hauke (Nine Days Wonder, Nektar, Peter "Wyoming" Bender) and distributed by Philips (DEU) with the white Bacillus label. 1972: The label crashed and was sold to Bellaphon Records where it became an integrated label imprint. Bellaphon changed the label colours to the better known orange-red, but kept the logo and developed Bacillus into one of the leading progressive / Krautrock labels in Germany. Besides Nektar, Omega and Karthago were most influential to this scene. Later, the experimental character of Bacillus expanded to the disco segment. Ganymed were to transport the Krautrock image on the dancefloor. In the 1980s the Bacillus label wasn't used for any new releases. Then in 1994 Bacillus was relaunched as a rock label for the debut album by The Automanic. The same year Gehasst, Verdammt, Vergöttert..., the first compilation by Böhse Onkelz, was released on Bacillus also. If submit BLPS version, a clear description of the label design appears mandatory, as there are different versions with unboxed and boxed Bellaphon on top. Later version also shows the wording "Made in Germany by Bellaphon-Records" on top-rim.
