History: Dave Bainbridge wrote this piece in response to the tragic events in Beijing, China in June 1989, when hundreds of students peacefully protesting for the cause of democracy, were killed by their own government's army. The oriental feel of the piece is enhanced by the unusual harmonies of the middle section and the haunting sound of David Fitzgerald's Chinese flute. This was another of the four Iona tunes on the first demo tape David & Dave produced in July 1989.
