After the very warm welcome Breed Machine got with their debut album Eveil Hardcore from both the European media and audience, the band is now ready to showcase its climb on the ladder of musical evolution with the release of its new album titled Renaissance.
The year 2007 was a busy one; Kriss joined the band as the new bass player and they played successful shows in France, Belgium and Germany. All of this has provided the band with new experiences that have resulted in increasingly efficient songwriting skills and added even more power and intensity to their sound.
As with Eveil Hardcore, the 11 tracks from the Renaissance album were recorded and produced by Breed Machine and Laurent Nafissi in the NSR Studio, a collaboration that has already proven to be highly successful. Furthermore, working like this enables Breed Machine to hold on to their independence and keep a close watch on the final result.
On this album Breed Machine moves further away from their influences, but at the same time they do not shy away from celebrating them! Proof of this is the raging duet between Mike and Poun (Black Bomb Ä) on “Hypocrites”.
Renaissance is available as a digipack on the label Revanches Music and is distributed through La Baleine in France and CODS in Benelux. This digipack edition contains the video clip of the song “Renaissance” as a bonus track.
Breed Machine will be back in studio end 2010 to record a third album to be released on the label Label44.
