Soundboard recording planned for a KBFH-broadcast in the best quality. The Outlaws reduced to a 4-piece after Billy Jones (R.I.P.) left early 1982 during their support for the last album before dissolving, "Los Hombres Malo".
One of the most obscure video tapes which surfaced in the 80's filmed for MTV.
The picture shows the cover of a VHS tape which I've bought 1986 at a vinyl shop in Vienna, rather expensive. The seller told me, he don't know where it comes from cause it is nowhere listed what means it has no catalogue number. Distributed by PMV (PolyGramVideo) and it's wide spread network I suppose it comes from a remaining stock in the industry someone packed to the shipment.
Anyway, I never again have seen that tape ever since.
Officially this VHS was released by Sony in 1982 with a blue cover as Video LP.
Striking in both versions, not credited on the cover are the venue and recording date. On the PMV release on the tracklist the song "Angels Hide" is missing.
Meanwhile several boot DVDs circulating with unconfirmed dates and wrong pictures.
2 songs from that show "You Are The Show" and "Ghost Riders" were officially released on the greatest hits compilation "High Tides Forever" in 1982 with the note both songs were recorded June 1982 for the King Biscuit Flower Hour, incomprehensibly that this awesome gig never was published officially.
