A very rare but amazing Southern record, overlooked and forgotten, the only one of German outfit CREEPY LAYNE out of Munich/Pasing, recorded by Klaus Back at Climax, Nürnberg, Germany/produced by Stefan Ströer, Klaus Back & Klaus Rotter/mixed & mastered at Groove-Studios, Jacksonville, Florida, published in 1982 on the German label ZYX Records.
Never reissued on cd it contains 9 original songs with strong leanings to early Molly Hatchet stuff, interestingly the singer partly reminds on their great frontman Danny Joe Brown (R.I.P.).
Long out of print sometimes the album appears over the net at various prices.
Short history:
Not much is known about this highly talented band except they formed about 1980, were very close to the Southern genre but didn't reach a breakthrough consequently they dissolved around 1984.
Huebl and Seuß remained active in the music biz, the other members disappeared without a trace...
Lineup:
Robert M. Stragalinós - lead vocals, guitars
Mario Baier (credited as Mario "Bull" Fandango) - guitars
Ludwig Seuß - keyboards, whistlin´
Bernhard Huebl - bass
Stephan Goetz - drums, percussion
