The Winters Brothers Band has nothing to do with brothers Johnny (R.I.P.) and Edgar Winter.
This band out of Nolensville, Tennessee released their 1st album stylistically similar to Charlie Daniels, Marshall Tucker Band and Grinderswitch on the Rabbit Records label in 1976 trying to have success in the Southern genre.
A planned support tour for Lynyrd Skynyrd in 1977 failed due that fatal plane crash Oct. 20, 1977.
In addition of internal tensions and legal disputes with the record labels at that time (Rabbit Records/Atlantic/ATCO), no support in sight, WBB always acted in the shadow of more prominent acts like e.g. The Outlaws, CDB, MTB and so on.
Another tragedy in the biz when great songs, amazing vocal and guitar arrangements are often not enough for becoming successful...
