A WNEW-FM broadcast recorded for the King Biscuit Flower Hour where the band performed 2 sets on December 18th, 1977 at New York's Bottom Line playing songs from their upcoming "Manorism" album in 1978, the first on Epic.
Formed about 1970 in Mobile, Alabama, Wet Willie released 7 albums on Capricorn between 1971 and 1977
(5 studio, 2 live LPs).
The label change in 1978 also brought a change in the lineup that also recorded their final album in 1979 "Which One's Willie". In 1980 they dissolved until reuniting in the 90's and continued performing/recording up to these days either with Jimmy Hall as "Wet Willie" or without him as "The Wet Willie Band" where Ric Seymour handles lead vocals as well as guitar.
