A 3-discs bootleg probably recorded from soundboard meanwhile no more available.
Formed 1972 in Washington, D.C., The Nighthawks went through several lineup changes until 1974 as they became stable up to 1986 where guitarist Jimmy Thakery left the band.
Since then various guitarists filled the guitar spot like e.g. Jimmy Nalls (Sea Level/R.I.P.) and Warren Haynes (ABB/Gov't Mule) also Jimmy Hall (Wet Willie) sometimes appeared as guest.
The original recording sounded too slow thus I corrected it based on the speed of studio versions giving this very rare gem a more convenient listening.
Lineup:
Warren Haynes – guitar/lead vocals
Jimmy Hall – sax/harmonica/lead vocals
Mark Wenner – harmonica/vocals
Jan Zukowski – bass/vocals
Pete Ragusa – drums/vocals
other musicians unknown
