Treetops - Demetra (2022)

Treetops is a band of young musicians based in Rome who play original music.
With an average age of just above 20 years old, the seven members of the group grew up together since they were teenagers, experimenting with the sounds of jazz, rock, funk and world music. Demetra, first discographic work produced by Pino Pecorelli (Orchestra di Piazza Vittorio), is a reflection upon the necessity of a newfound equilibrium in the ecosystem that has been shaken and weakened by the pandemic.
The result of those weird months that made up the lockdown is eleven new instrumental tracks, all part of an album that aims to reclaim the easy going and serene way of life we had, while still keeping in mind the bond between Demetra and the many worlds she inhabits and gives vitality to.
