Waiting For Words clearly distinguish themselves from the electro-clash / synthpop scene by their 'rock' background and live feeling that, even with the use of electronic instruments, seduces both 'electronic' audience & medias and pop rock fans.Waiting For Words is a french pop-rock-electro band formed in the early 90's.
Afer a decade in the french underground, hundreds of concerts in Paris and around, 3 albums and many changes in the line up, the band takes a 3 years break before going back to their electronic roots and the core of the band : ZeN (vocals, keyboards, guitar) and Inox (keyboard).
Later joined by El Lute on Electronic Drums & Mycrotonik on Keyboard, WAITING FOR WORDS starts getting an international exposure with their 4th album release in April 2004 and a European Tour taking them to UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany and their homeland, France, for more than 3 years.
The band signs with EMSAR Record, a british indie label, in January 2008 and continues touring intensively in France, Belgium, Germany, UK, Switzerland... They play with cult bands such as Trisomie 21, Onetwo (Paul Humphreys from OMD and Claudia Brucken from Propoaganda), Partenaire Particulier, De/Vision... in some of the best European venues (Bataclan, Underworld, The Assembly, Le Glazart, Le Divan du Monde, La Scene Bastille...)
In April 2012, El Lute & Mycrotonik leave the band, left under ZeN's unique control.
His wife, Fée Soe aka Soe V (who already appeared on the 2004 album "A Walk Through The Night" as lyrics writer, co composer and vocalist on a couple of tracks), fully joins him and helped by the talented young guitarist, DJ & Producer, Melanoboy, they launch the recording of what will become the best album of Waiting For Words : Follow The Signs.
Digitally release late 2011 and in CD early 2012, the album is critically acclaimed around the world, chart in Germany and US for weeks and the tour started on January 2011 is their biggest one to date, planned to last for the biggest part of 2013...
