Adaje - Yore Veils (2012)

'Yore' is a Scottish word meaning "times past lived.". The content on this album deals with accepting your not so high place in the grand scheme of things and understanding that it's not the worst place to be. It also deals with past friendships and relationships in the sense of recognizing that without those experiences, we are without character. There's people in our lives that aren't meant to stay, no matter how long you know them and how much you share with them. They see you at your worst moments, bask with you in your best, and reciprocate your thoughts and feelings. One day you step outside yourself and take a look at this connection and realize you never had it to begin with. It leaves you baffled, upset, and shakes your very convictions in ways you don't understand. This album is about taking those array of emotions and (hopefully) putting them to rest.
