| Описание: | HISTORY RECORDS was formed in 2010 after acquiring the catalogue MRR. The label has two primary focuses, compilations and Artist lead albums. 2010 will see the label release some key compilations titles including Amorphous Androgynous’ ‘A Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble – Volume 3’, Herve ‘Ghetto Bass 2’ and Mighty Mouse’s ‘Disco Circus 2’ and James Chance’s ‘Twist Your Soul –The Definitive Collection’. Forthcoming artist albums include Amorphous Androgynous, Mighty Mouse and Command V (the new band from B52’s Pat Irwin and Cynthia Sley from the Bush Tetras). In 2011 the label will step up Artist album releases – key artists include Mighty Mouse, Command V and a selection of new signings launching in the New Year. The label has a distribution deal through Universal Music in the UK and direct digital contracts with all the key online retailers and mobile networks. There are key strategic partnerships in place for Sync’s and third party licensing along with merchandise support for artists. History’s sister company, History Music manages the releases, sales and marketing for labels Dumb Angel, Disco Circus (Mighty Mouse’s label), Thisisnotanexit (Detachments), Ancient B (Love Amongst Ruin’s label), and Monstrous Bubble Records (home of Amorphous Androgynous and Future Sound Of London). With the extent of the releases that are coming out over the next 12 months History dip their toes in the worlds of Disco, Acid House, Funk, No‐Wave, Indie, Pop, Rock, Psychedelic, Jazz and Dance.
