| Описание: | Atlanta, Georgia-based dance/R&B label created by [a=Larry Blackmon] of [a=Cameo] in 1983, primarily as an outlet for Cameo recordings, band members' side projects and Blackmon's own productions. Originally pressed and distributed in North America only (with [l=Phonogram] UK releasing the label's output on the [l=Club] label and other markets releasing it on [l=Mercury]). The label was closed after Cameo left [l=PolyGram] for [l=Reprise Records] in the early 1990s. The Atlanta Artists catalog was then folded into Mercury, which ironically manages the 1976-82 [l=Casablanca Records]/[l=Chocolate City] Cameo catalog. |
