GetDarker was launched back in 2006, and is still the most reliable online source of Dubstep music. DarksideRiddem.com was launched back in 2003, and was nominated at the Sidewinder Awards 2004 and received 7th Place (against leading magazines etc). Following this, Darkside got a radio show on Rinse FM - which was unquestionably one of the most professional and popular shows in Rinse's history. In 2006, DarksideRiddem was re-branded to GetDarker, and continued to become the most reliable online source to Dubstep Music. In May 2009, Darkside left his 5 year Rinse FM "GetDarker Show" to launch GetDarkerTV. November 2009, we launched the "This Is Dubstep Vol 1" album series. March 2010 we launched Vol. 2 which was CD (HMV) & Digital (iTunes) and was the first EVER TV Advertised Dubstep Album (UK). September 2010, we released This Is Dubstep vol.3 which was requested by leading supermarkets, HMV and reached No. 2 in the iTunes Chart. December 2010 - we released a specialist Dubstep album titled "Pure Dubstep" Our podcast is currently the most popular Dubstep podcast worldwide (check iTunes Podcast Chart). 28th December saw Episode 79 of GetDarkerTV and was huge closure of a great 2010....here's to 2011 July 2011, we released This Is Dubstep 2011 which was requested by leading supermarkets, HMV and reached No. 1 in the iTunes Chart and charted in the official UK Chart at number 6. February 2012, we released This Is Dubstep 2012 which was requested by leading supermarkets, HMV and reached No. 1 in the iTunes Chart and charted in the official UK Chart at number 5. GetDarker is an endorsed independent online magazine devoted to dubstep music and UK underground culture. Evolving from an original site (DarksideRiddem.com) launched in 2002, GetDarker has since expanded beyond its London, UK roots and now has strong support from a global audience. GetDarker has bolstered its brand as an award-winning leader in dubstep via the TV-advertised compilation series This Is Dubstep, weekly GetDarker webcasts, a Top 15 podcast, merchandise and exposure at UK festivals and international tours.
