Faux 70's obscure occult/horror direct-to-VHS film soundtracks. "Pre-Cert" is a reference to the golden age of VHS and laser disc in the UK before the 1984 Video Recordings Act which would require screenings by censors before release as they did with cinema releases. During this time, a lot of violent and gory films were made, the kind that [a=Miles Whittaker] and [a=Sean Canty] draw inspiration from. PCHE echoes the pre-cert video era before the introduction of the 1984 Video Recordings Act in the UK. |
