In 1998 was born cooperation between Sony Music and Bonton Music with official name [l=Sony Music / Bonton s.r.o.]. In May 2003. Sony Music bought whole part of Bonton and strarted business in The Czech rebublic and The Slovakia under the label [l=Sony Music Entertainment (Czech Republic) s.r.o.]. Sony BMG Music Entertainment is the result of a 50/50 joint venture between Sony Music Entertainment and Bertelsmann Music Group (part of Bertelsmann), which was completed on August 5, 2004 In August 2008, Sony announced they acquired Bertelsmann's 50% stake in the company became [l=Sony Music Entertainment Czech Republic s.r.o.] in 2009. |
