| Описание: | UK label and distribution company previously known as [l=Pye Records]. When the rights to the Pye name expired, the label changed its name to PRT (Precision Records & Tapes), effective from September 1980. PRT handled distribution for [l=BBC Records and Tapes] and former Pye subsidiary [l=Calibre] Records (alternately known as [l=Calibre + Plus!]) and continuing on from its days as Pye Records, UK distribution of [l=Casablanca Records] (until [l=Phonogram] took over UK distribution around 1981), [l4776] and [l=Buddah Records]. PRT ceased operations in 1989. Its catalog was then acquired by [l=Castle Communications]. The Pye/PRT catalog is now owned by [l=Universal Music Group] unit [l=Sanctuary Records].
