Stereo-Fidelity
| Описание: | Stereo Fidelity and [l=Somerset] were both basically the same label. Stereo Fidelity was used for the stereo and Somerset was used for the mono releases. The artwork on the corresponding mono/stereo pairs was identical except for the logo, which was on the back cover. Somerset and Stereo Fidelity albums rarely had any logos or label identifiers on the front covers. That way, they could be easily mistaken for "full price" albums by the casual buyer. Stereo-Fidelity was the first label to introduce a full line of stereo long play disc in May, 1958. Somerset/Stereo Fidelity was part of [l=Miller International Company] of Media, Pennsylvania, which was run by [a=David L. Miller]. |
