Expert Work Records
| Описание: | Columbia, Missouri, record label ran by J. Nardy. Nardy was part of the record label Emergency Umbrella Records in the early 2000's. After Emergency Umbrella dissolved, Nardy was looking for a outlet/label to put out some of his own music and bands. After a few self releases with no label name tied to them Nardy decided on the name Expert Work Records. The name Expert Work was inspired and taken from a June of 44 poster that came with the album Engine Takes To The Water. Expert Work started out as a label putting out Nardy's bands (Bald Eagle, New Tongues, etc.), but has expanded into a label that is focusing on putting out lost/forgotten/unreleased music by Columbia, Mo bands and early Midwest emo/punk/post-rock music from the 90's and early 2000's. Pressing are very limited (usually 300 or less), and most have some sort of handmade element to them (screen printed images, hand numbered, hand stamped, etc). The Expert Work Bandcamp page also features many digital releases of lost/forgotten bands/recordings. In 2020 Expert Work Records expanded and started working with a sub label called American Handstand Records, ran by long time friend and ex bandmate M. Welch. Together Nardy and Welch put out their first co-release, the complete discography of Orwell. Expert Work also does small screen printing projects from time to time. |
