Dark clouds gathered at the blackened nightsky To watch this funeral scenery so macabre. Grim and merciless winterfrost Suffocates the scorched soil finally. Death is so definite here, No life is left to stain the pureness Of this awesome winternight, It's the winter of desolation. Their monuments frozen and lifeless, Soon nothing but dust in the northwinds, Desolated tombs are all which remained, The burial is just perfect. The coldness of the universe Strikes the abandoned earth With overwhelming cruelty, Thou shall never dwell here again. The spirits of the dead, They are still here, waiting. Their voices are one with the storms, And forever they shall cry. For a salvation which will never come, Eternally lost in the dark twilight Of the sombre wastelands And the desolation of winter.
