Mötley Crüe - Wild In The Night: Live Broadcast (1982)

Long circulated as a bootleg, Wild in the Night captures an extremely fresh-faced Mötley Crüe in one of their earliest live performances. Captured for radio broadcast in late 1982 at a club gig in Pasadena, the soon-to-be-huge glam metal band had just seen the release of its debut album, Too Fast for Love, and tears through many of that album's tunes, including fan favorites like "Live Wire" and "Public Enemy #1." The band was in the process of recording its follow-up album, Shout at the Devil, and though that album wouldn't see release until late 1983, the set list includes several early performances of tunes from the album, including the live debut of the title track, introduced by Vince Neil as a song about famed Satanist Aleister Crowley. The show also featured "Hotter Than Hell" and "Running Wild in the Night," two songs that were being considered for recording at the time but didn't make the final cut.
