“A voice of gold” is how Swansea’s Evening Post defines Singer-Songwriter Caroline Harrison.
Originally born in Kent, it could have been a very different musical story for Caroline but a family move to rural West Wales in 1997 went on to help shape what looks to be a very promising career in music.
Growing up listening to The Mamas & the Papas, Dusty Springfield, Dionne Warwick and many more it is evident that this era has very much inspired her own sound.
Having one of her songs successfully placed in a Brazilian Soap Opera has helped in her gaining exposure as a songwriter globally.
Her debut Single ‘Beyond the Darkened Sky’ was released in 2013 and gained support from over 70 regional Radio Stations in the UK and Europe getting behind the it, these included; BBC 6 Music & BBC Radio Wales. Caroline has been 'Artist of the Week' twice this year for BBC Radio Wales and was invited to perform live for the BBC Radio Wales Music Day in association with BBC Introducing.
Successful recent support slots have included opening for Texas at their recent Smooth Radio showcase, Livingston; on their Acoustic German tour, Charlotte Church and Jodie Marie on their Welsh tour dates.
In April 2014 Caroline was awarded funding by The Art's Council of Wales and National Lottery funding scheme to release her second single. It was released in May and gained her support from Sir Terry Wogan on his BBC Radio 2 show.
Her 3rd single was released in December and gained her continued support from BBC Radio 2 and BBC Radio Wales.
