EDGE is a four piece rock band from Summerside PEI formed in 1999, but the guys have actually been friends and played music together most of their lives. This strong friendship and musical connection has been a big factor in the band’s longevity and popularity. This album was released in microscopic numbers in Canada in 2005 – not many of these are floating around. The band certainly has their own style but they rock hard on the tracks, “Paradise” and “Dreams” features killer guitar work. Their camaraderie and musical connection shines through onstage, thus they quickly became a local favourite playing clubs and special events. The band was a double winner at the 2006 Music PEI Awards Gala, taking home two trophies: “Entertainer of the Year” and “Weekend Warrior of the Year”.
