The label represents a merger of Universal Music Group's A&M Records label with Octone Records. Headquartered in New York City, A&M/Octone Records is home to Maroon 5, Flyleaf and Hollywood Undead. In 2013, it was announced that Interscope Geffen A&M would fully acquire the A&M Octone label, which was completed in mid-2014, all of its artists were transferred to Interscope's roster, including most notably Maroon 5. |
